SHORTS ONE: STATE OF THE ART
Il meglio dei cortometraggi e documentari di breve durata

State of the Art, è la vetrina più importante dei corti del Resfest, e possiede una ampia varietà di forme: live action, animazione, grafiche in movimento e documentari. Sezione di grande internazionalità, con filmati che arrivano dal Sud Africa, Spagna, Gran Bretagna, Corea, Paesi Bassi, USA. In aggiunta al fastoso e operistico THE TALE OF HOW dei neofiti The Blackheart Gang, il programma vanta le opere più spettacolari di artisti che sono già noti al pubblico del Resfest, come Run Wrake, PES e Chris Shephard, oltre alle anteprime dei lavori di tre promettenti “alunni” del Festival: 0:08 di Johan Kramer, il commovente ritratto di un ragazzino spagnolo quasi cieco; FOOD FIGHT di Stefan Nadelman che con i suoi appunti culinari ci introduce alla Storia della Guerra e THE BOX, un thriller concettuale di Richard Fenwick, il maestro di RND#.

This gorgeously ornate, amusingly operatic CGI fantasy takes place in the Indian Ocean, where a settlement of “piranha birds” lives on the back of an octopus, which feeds on the birds when he gets hungry.
